Paul is NOT an Apostle and his teachings cannot be trusted

Paul did the opposite.  He said that those who kept the commandments of the First Testament were under a curse (Gal 3:10-12).  But Jesus said, “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19). Paul seemed to think He could override our Savior's teachings on this and many other matters.  See "5 Ways Paul contradicted Jesus" to learn more.

  1. Paul taught that we are NOT judged by our works.
  2. Paul teaches to eat things sacrificed to idols.
  3. Paul teaches opposite of Jesus concerning His Law.
  4. Paul’s story of his salvation is in question.
  5. Paul appoints himself as 13th Apostle and places himself higher than Jesus and the Apostles who walked with Jesus.

When one learns that the real Gospel of Jesus Christ is contained entirely outside (and in contradiction to) the epistles of Paul, there might be an initial burst of concern. But you can trust that the Gospel Jesus brought is “The Way, The Truth, and The Life” (John 14:6).

Paul claims we should follow his gospel and there are differing laws or rules for Hebrews and Gentiles

Exodus 12:48 “And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.”


There are NO scriptures from the first testament, from the Apostles (outside of Acts which is extremely suspect and written by Luke, not an apostle), or from Jesus that tells us there is a different set of rules or laws for the Hebrews and Gentiles.  Gentiles are as sojourners grafted in with the Hebrew faith and as such are no longer Gentiles.  Click below to learn more:
